Leonhard Hofmann is an independent Filmmaker based in Frankfurt and Berlin. His films take a personal look at social issues and deal with topics such as masculinity and social isolation.
His short film DREI BÄUME SIND KEIN WALD was shown at numerous renowned film festivals and was shortlisted for the German Short Film Award.
In 2023, his documentary feature FRANK MEYER premiered at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, won the Granit Award for Best Documentary at Hof International Film Festival and the Audience Award at Lichter Filmfest Frankfurt International.
He is currently completing his master's degree in directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf.
